don’t fix it note

We see there’s a problem. Please write in to us so we can omit this line. When your lease expires the line would not be covered under our present contract. If it isn’t covered, then it’s no longer a problem to be fixed. If it doesn’t need to be fixed, there is no problem.

forgot

I forgot to remember
and remember
only to forget.

Process notes: The “forgot” prompt at One-Minute Writer.

mackerels & sardines

When fish fell from the sky,
the unreal becomes real,
and the real, unreal.

Process notes: One Minute Writer asked to do a one minute review of the most recent book you read. The book referenced is Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore.

I don’t wanna sleep

Are you sleeping?
I’m not…
(zzzzzzzz)

Process notes: One Minute Writer..heehee. July stone #15.

expiration

Everything has
an expiration date–
you just gotta check
the embossed date
or the scratchy labels.

Process notes: July stones #11. Really in response to the One Minute Writer prompt of “expiration”.

black swan

Feather, you should pluck it,

when it’s black,

pricked, into your skin,

and then you tried to put it back

but your toes stuck like a web,

and then, and then,

you’d just put on a white-feathered

plume cage hat,

like nothing happened.

Process notes: Not exactly “the fall”, but it’s meant to be, isn’t it, since Adam & Eve. Just trying out The One Minute Writer’s prompt. This is inspired by the movie, “The Black Swan”. Surreal, symbolic, juicy bad. Yea, wrote it in a minute.
